2) EmerAgency- instant knowledge invention, ideas are processed, analyzed, and shared at rapid speeds allowing for continuity of flow of ideas. The internet like a factory
3) Butera- All 3 roles actually dominated by the individual. They have the potential to be “Gatekeeper, Moderator, Synthesizer”. The network personality is separate from the real personality depending on the individual’s choice.
4) Wandel & Beavers- The power of blogging is the creation of a community devoted to a single subject where individuals develop, nurture, and evolve the subject as they choose.
5) Bogost- Facebook is an algorithm, news feeds and the way we process information are structured changing the way we experience social networking of the world and in turn perceive the internet in general.
6) Experiential Nexus- the internet has “spaces” developed by users where the intensity and rhythm of interaction is different and defined by individuals’s ideas and network interactions
7) Public Sphere- Online community where ideas are born and shared and then are subject to scrutiny by other individuals with the same equal capabilities of sharing their own personal ideas makes up a “public sphere”.
8) Digital Aurality- language is changing by digital rhetoric through changes to online networking. The way we interact during online socializing has begun changing the structure of literacy. An example is music
9) Identity- “identity” means different things to an individual from the perspective of online networking to real life. Opinions of one’s self are subject to change when crossing different platforms, depending on the status of the current experiential nexus.
10) Ifunny- a good example of participatory culture as the combination of posting, creating, commenting, “liking”, and social status make up a form of online community
